Torva Terra is offering an intensive road trip style workshop focusing on the unique wildlife and landscape of West and South Iceland. On this amazing 7 day photography tour you will experience summer landscapes of striking variety while traveling Iceland's famous Ring Road. Explore countless majestic and iconic waterfalls, world famous glacier lagoons, black sandy beaches with epic cliffs, sea stacks and bird colonies with puffins and other sea-birds, the largest glacier in Europe, mountain peaks, big lava fields, active volcanoes and abundant wildlife.
This photography workshop will focus on exploring beautiful and epic locations under the watchful eye of Kate Garibaldi our expert photographer and guide. She will be sharing her experience and techniques with you to take your photography skills to the next level. Our trip is planned for late June when summer takes over from spring which means it will be delightfully warm with the added bonus of the magnificent midnight sun which gives almost 24 hours of daylight. We will chase the sun with a very small group ensuring you get one-on-one time to grow and learn. This is one of the best trips to build your portfolio in a short amount of time.
Another key point to this trip is that we will be staying in a mix of amazing 3 & 4 star hotels and a lovely historic (and recently renovated) Icelandic boutique hotel. After a long day of chasing the light and having amazing adventures we will come "home" to comfort and luxury Icelandic style.
Day 1 - June 23rd - Sea Cliffs, Waterfalls & Mountains: Arrival, transfer to hotel, sessions begin on Snaefellsness Peninsula
Day 2 - June 24th - Waterfalls & Wildflowers: Scenic drive to South Iceland with multiple waterfall opportunities

Our photography tour leader and guides will use their extensive knowledge to place you in the best spot to make use of the opportunities that nature provides us.
